The LD Edge initiative has a primary focus that seeks to see people with learning disabilities fully included in all educational, employment and social/recreational pursuits. An equally important direction of the LD Edge initiative is to reduce stereotypes associated with Learning Disabilities and promote cost effective and user friendly Assistive Technologies.
Increasing accessibility can:
- Increase productivity by ensuring that employees with Learning Disabilities benefit from Assistive Technology.
- Provide an environment in which employees feel secure in disclosing a suspected or confirmed Learning Disability.
- Contribute to the progress of society and the betterment of individual lives via Assistive Technology and Universal Design in the workplace, marketplace and classroom.
"If we give them an edge, they may give us one"

LD Edge Transition – ensuring that people with Learning Disabilities have access to consistent and accessible educational, employment and social/recreational venues over the entire spectrum of life experience - from childhood to adolescence and adulthood.
LD Edge Pre-assessments– striving to increase access to timely and appropriate learning assessments that support the implementation of diagnosis specific accommodations and strategies.
