SOS (Seniors on Seniors)
The Seniors on Seniors program is aimed at making seniors more comfortable with operating Cell phones, Caller IDs, Voice Mail, Answering Machines, and Personal Emergency Response Systems.
Hands-on group workshops for seniors will be facilitated by senior volunteers from our community.
Time Commitment: 2 hours per week (Thursday morning sessions, 9:30am-11:30am.)
Task/Responsibilities:
- Participate in Train the Trainer sessions with ATN staff on assistive devices such as: Cell phones, Caller IDs, Voice Mail, Answering Machines and Personal Emergency Response Systems
- Train seniors on how to use assistive devices
- Assist the seniors with questions and tasks
