The 12th Annual

 ATN Access Charity Golf Tournament

It was held Monday, July, 5th 2010 at the Forest City National Golf Course

We would like to thank all the sponsors, volunteers, and participants who made this amazing event such a great success!

Games at 10:00 AM & 2:30 PM Daily

ATN staff and clients will be providing licensed bar service during the World Cup and throughout the evening performances as well.

Skills for Employment Program

The current session of this program began on Tuesday June 14th, 2010.  The program is comprised of an in-class component (June 14, 2010 - Sept. 24, 2010), and a placement (Sept. 27, 2010 - December 3, 2010). If you are interested in this program, or know of someone who might benefit from participation in it, please call Connie at 519-433-7090 or write to info@atn.on.ca.

The program is located at ATN Access Inc., 141 Dundas Street Suite #504 and is designed to lead directly to job search with full or part-time employment being the ultimate goal.  Instruction includes: Computers / Keyboarding, Mathematics, English, Job Search, Life Skills, and a 10-week unpaid work placement.

ATN PRESENTS:
THE SUMMER EXPERIENCE PROGRAM

Choose from 1 of the following Experience Programs:
July 5th - July 16th, 2010
July 26th - August 6th, 2010
August 16th - August 27th, 2010

This summer ATN is opening its doors and introducing children to computer programs that promote teamwork, exploration, research, and hands-on learning. The program includes community activities that support social skills development and unique learning strategies.  ATN’s goal is to help build self-esteem in children who experience academic barriers.

Instructor: Andres Stam
Age: 8 to 12
Time: The Camp will run from Monday to Friday
 2 days in the lab from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and
 3 days community activities from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

ATN is now Offering Two New Programs!

 

PLATO LEARNING
Plato is a self-paced computer-based program for students from elementary school to post-secondary school.  Plato assists students with the development of new academic skills, building on their existing skills, and preparing them for future educational and vocational endeavors.

 

 

WORKSTART

The WorkStart Employment Planning program is designed to assist those facing an employment or career transition. Clients work through a process of finding out more about their work personality, skills, abilities, aptitudes, and capabilities, and helps users identify and explore several occupations where they could best succeed.

AFTER HOURS COURSES AVAILABLE @ ATN

Have you ever wanted to learn ASL
(American Sign Language)?

For only $110 you will receive 15 hours of training during a 6 week period, in Levels 1, 2, & / or 3 (Minimum 4 students).

Additional tutoring in areas of Literacy, and adult correspondence credits may be available after consultation with our Instructor; for those persons who have been unable to schedule training during regular hours because of work conflicts and other reasons.  Contact Karen at 519-433-7950 or at karen@atn.on.ca for  more information.
